Adult
Placement
Home life that
means just that, living as part of a family. That's the
benefit of being supported by a PSS Adult Placement
Carer. Not just for older people, but people with mental
health needs, physical impairments or learning
difficulties. A practical solution to a wide range of
social needs. Dedicated carers find Adult Placement is a
satisfying and flexible self-employment opportunity for
them to work at home, with full back up to support them.
That's PSS Adult Placement. PSS welcomes applications
from existing or potential carers from any kind of
background that provides relevant experience for
example, caring for a relative or bringing up a family.

PSS Personal
and Professional
Whatever
services PSS provides, there are threads that run
through all of them. One is that care should be related
to a person's own wishes, so that people can be treated
as individuals. Another is flexibility to meet any kind
of situation.
As important as
any of these threads however, is professionalism. Caring
without a professional approach and infrastructure
doesn't work. At PSS, carers trained, qualifications and
standards are professional, outcomes are monitored and
assessed. It shows in the number of statutory
authorities who now commission PSS to ensure that they
fulfil their obligations. Above all, it shows in the
thousands of vulnerable people who, thanks to PSS
standards and commitment, are today leading fuller,
happier, more independent lives.
